N111HP rolled out of the factory under the as N9420D and was sold the State of Nevada for use in Nevada Highway Patrol from December of 1983 till December of 2013 in that capacity and still wears the N Number of that role. During its days in High and Dry Nevada it was maintained on the Cessna Progressive Care Program and was maintained like someone else was paying the bill!
